A US Airways jetliner, which was bound for Charlotte, NC, floats down the Hudson River off of Battery Park CIty in Manhattan after crash landing in the river just after takeoff from LaGuardia Airport on Jan.15, 2009. After floating for down river the large plane hit land at Battery Park City where it was secured for removal from the water days later.
