Shiite Muslims exit the Al Hussein Shine as they gather in Kerbala, Iraq on April 22, 2003, to commemorate the life and death of Al Hussein.  Hussein, the grandson of the prophet Mohammed, is a symbol of the struggle against repression for the Shiites.   This year marks the first time since Saddam Hussein took office that the Shiites Muslims of Iraq have come together for the event without the fear repression from the now fallen regime.
